Brake place says there are no rebuild parts available so is there an alternative booster available new or for which parts are available ? Did a full search, seems like everyone buys a used one but I don't want to take the risk, fix it properly and be done with it. So, the question of new has come up lots of times but what is the answer?
Have you looked up https://conceptzperformance.com/items.php?c=1 or https://www.z1motorsports.com/ to see if they have parts or maybe try Jesse Streeter in Japan. Maybe your " brake shop " just couldn't be effed looking around or doesn't want too do the job.
You can buy new boosters from a place in Melbourne, i found the shop when I thought my booster was gone, there is also a place in SA that will rebuild your booster no problem, I've spoke to the guy who owns the shop, you can send your booster over, and he will rebuild it. Problem is i can't remember the names of either place.
I personally bought a new booster from Rob @ RGS Performance when mine had a split in the diaphragm. If you look up the RGS performance website and brake booster he sells them with free delivery in Aus for $330. I'm personally one of those people who always buys new rather than second hand when it comes to parts like this.
Thanks heaps blokes, I've searched the hell out of the topic and found nothing helpful so this is great. Have an excellent day
