Hey guys, decided what i'm doing with my car and after a recent ebay win it means i have almost everything need to get this little project started Basically i won an entire TT Conversion kit for very cheap and will be very fun to see how it pans out. Currently the Engine in the car is an NA motor with TT Cylinder heads shaved for 10.8:1 Static compression. Will be taking it to 7-8psi on the stock gear, then when i have some extra cash lying around a TT Pump and a Water/Methanol Injection kit will go on and so will 15-odd psi of boost The Kit i won consists of: -Auto Turbos incl all oil and water feed lines (will be selling them for manual turbos) -Manifolds + shields -Dumps -Accordion, inlet, outlet pipes to turbos -Intercooler inlet and outlet pipes + hoses -Intake pipes -Recirc valves -Boost solenoids -TT injectors (ultrasonic clean 8K ago) -TT sump -TT radiator + fan shroud + lower rubber mounts -Intercoolers + ducts. Current Mods are: 2.5" UAS Catback Exhaust 2.5" Custom Front Pipes APEXi Power Intake Underdrive Pulley My Ultimate goal for this setup will be a quick, responsive 300rwhp street car and will be on Semi Slicks.
dont see no nitrous edit: I have a TT pump with hanger and all for a 2 seater. will send it if you pay for postage? I got it for free so no biggy was gonna put it in the bin LOL
nice pick up there. be sure to check the turbos for obvious shaftplay before install, and ditch all the rubber lines for new stuff etc. only thing that seems missing is the turbo ecu. also, if your not planning on huge numbers from the build, (300wrhp is a nice number, and will be quick) then the auto turbos will have better spool up and still be able to achieve your desired power level with ease. id stick with them.
Cheers, regarding the ECU i'll be talking to Eric about that when i get some more cash saved up. I'm only a student so buying all this stuff isn't easy for me . Z32TT PM sent.
I'm not going TT for another 2 1/2 years or so... But can I still join in on the holding of hands? P.S No homo
Let's race and see who finishes first? Then after that we can race and see who converts their Zed to TT first...
I won't be able to get this finished for about another month or two in any case till my mechanic comes back from greece. I got a VERY good price on fitting though, will let you guys know on progress. Will be very fun to drive when its done, 300rwhp and a load of downlow torque and mid range power should make it a fairly quick street car with a lot of area under the curve.
Yeah itll be great fun man especially with what you are used too. And in 2.5 years I'm fairly confident I'll have another massive vg engine built up as I'm going to build and play with my spare motor. Looks like a lot of interesting up and coming builds happening now must be somethig in the air
I'm sorry not all of us only work 2 days a week Martin (It must be all the money he saves from not eating meat and not drinking)
