    Hey guys,

I have hks hypermax and damper and I was trying to adjust the damper. But I stuffed up and unscrewed the alen key bolts from the top cover in the engine bay. Now when I try to put the screws back in they just drop in without going on the thread. I think there must be something underneath the cover which threads on to the bolt but i dont know how to acess it. Does anyone have any experience or suggestions. I am pretty sure I can drive my car untill this is fixed.

    thanks

I installed a set of these recently into a mates R34...

If I were you, just removed the entire coilover (strut) and put it together, and re-install. It doesn't take long to take the fronts out.

EDIT: Mind you, I'm not entirely sure what you have done

I'm not sure I can help...

because I didn't adjust them, or even have a close look at them. I just ripped my mates old suspension out, and installed the HKS coilovers into his Skyline and told him to puck off...

    Sorry :(
