Now be nice to me, im trying to do my own zed work and fix my power steer leak.
I am having trouble taking the lower turbo/intake/intercooler ducting off.
As viewed from the front you have,
    (A) one ducting from throttle body/intercooler,
    (B) one ducting next to it to/fom turbo,
    (C) lower hose under the above two either to/from turbo.

Its hose (C) that im having trouble with. I can see/touch the front clamp but cannot see the rear clamp. Is there a rear clamp? How does this ducting come away from the turbo? Is it a hoist job?

    Help a frustrated zed owner.
    Cheers Bruce

Yes there is a rear clamp. That hose runs from the air intake to the front of the turbo so the clamp is a long way back. If you look at the second photo in the tech article you can see a bit of blue rag stuck in the pipe.

Changed that hose a while ago on Mr G's car, can't remember taking that hose off. Remove radiator. hard/soft pipes, undo the banjo bolt on top off the pump( thats why you had to remove rad/hoses), clamps along the pipe( not easy) the other end ( can be difficult if damaged) thread it out (like a Rubick Cube). No need to pull the turbo inlet hose ( which does have it's difficulties but simply done from above)

He is repairing the return line, he shouldn't need to go anywhere near the pump.

Why do you want to remove that hose Bruce?? It shouldn't be necessary to remove this
and it's a total bitch to replace. When you install an engine, it's always best to fit them to the turbos before hand.
What is leaking, can you post a pic or give a description.

Hi Wayne. Im trying to get to the bottom of the power steer return line that leads to/from the reservoir. I need to move the turbo intake hose to get to the bottom power str hose fitting.
My issue is the same as in the tech article supplied by Wykked a few threads back.
I was asking how far along the intake hose is the clamp to relaese it because i cant see it.
Sounds like im just gonna have to stick my hand right up there and feel about!

Another question. If i bleed the power steering system do i have to bleed the HICAS as well?.

Is it the line that is a rubber hose from the front of the reservoir and fits into a hard line that
runs under the radiator? It has a bracket that holds it to the body next to the pump (10mm nut).
Have you removed the radiator, shroud, hoses, etc? With these out off the way,
the job is 10 times simpler. Once you've replaced your lines, top up the fluid and start car.
The steer pump works fast so check the reservoir and top up, then turn wheel from lock
to lock several times and once again, check fluid.
