At the last tech day in Vic i described to a few people of my crazyness with fiberglass before i bought the zed (still in the design process for the zed). A friend and I just thought we would test out what it was like to work with fiberglass and have a practise in a peice of crap hyundai excel before we go about even starting in either his or my car. here are some pics (don't laugh too hard): The complete box in all its glory. My friend Tony and my older brother posing.
LAUGHING... There's nothing to laugh about there...'cept the money you're saving by doing your own work!! Well done!!
Re: LAUGHING... everyone seems to laugh at the color we ended up choosing. we thought canary yellow was the best to stand out and i think we where right. well i think $200 and a lot of swearing for that install was alright. not that expensive for something that stops people breathing for a few seconds when we open the boot of a bomb.
Re: LAUGHING... I hate the colour, but the actual set up looks well made. How much fibreglassing have you done previous to this, because if thats a first attempt, wow.
Re: LAUGHING... yep, this was our first time. it was a little difficult. the paint was a bitch cause we kept getting runs but we worked it out in the end.
