Round 2A was last weekend. Run this time on the outer circuit (not including the new section - not quite finished yet) I'm in the same class as the Porsche, not quite getting down to those times. Think he ran a 3:25, my best was a 3:57.039 Pretty happy with that as it was an 11 second improvement over my times at the nationals last year. Need to get some in car video happening. Would have been pretty spectacular for my last run on Sunday. I tried to carry too much speed off the pit straight and spun off at about 120kph. The zed and I are both in one piece but I am still vacuuming the grass and dirt out of the Zed. Maybe I shouldn't run with targas off and windows down Z Car Club of Qld had quite a few starters there.
Well done Dino Big improvement on times from the Nats, nearly 4 seconds a lap quicker.:thumbup: Would have brought you up just behind me 3.51.10 and Ports 3.55.08. bet the car is sitting a lot flatter through the turns now with the D2's on instead of that body roll you had happening. Would like to get back there one day for another crack, enjoyed the 3 lap format they run.
Top effort Dean, your really having a red hot go mate great to see. As to the idea of doing laps without the roof, I would think that it would make the zed way to wobbley for track work......
