this is turning into another iCER thread lol.

i still dont understand how the injectors were cleaned without removing them or their connectors. call me a newb if im wrong but if you clean the injectors (the bits that don't actually do anything) how is that gonna help?

ill tell you what fixed your car, the injector cleaner you used probably unclogged one of your injectors and its now running 130% better.

by the way rhy, did you have a new plenum gasket when you put the plenum back on?

He removed the injectors but left them connected to their connectors. Is that possible?

Ungreatful little pri... I can think of heaps of insulting names but I don't wish to lose my membership. You sir are too basic and too dense for any of us to help with the right solution so don't start that crap that we didn't help. WE DID whether it was wrong or not. You really need to post less and read more. Learn the difference between a plenum pull to plenum bypass.

While you're at it, blank off your PCV's, block up the breather pipes on the cam covers (one is at the back on passenger side outter cover and the 2 at the front on the inner covers), remove your AIV's, remove and blank off your recircs, secure your dipstick tight, pull the vac lines off your waste gate actuators, advance your timing to 20deg and add some sugar to the fuel (turns it into ethanol). Then take of for a good strap and see how she goes. ;)

It's the way you ask questions. The whole problem with most of your posts is:

    a) they are just helter skelter. One sentence you refer to one thing, the next something else, but without actually stating you have moved on to talking about something else. It is difficult for us to follow clearly what you mean.

    b) your posts contain so many misspelt words & terms that it can be difficult for us to decypher what you are actually saying. What you mean inside your head is not being accurately being relayed to your written posts. If you took the time to accurately describe what you had done / what you intend doing, and in what order it would help all concerned.

    c) you are mostly a smart-ass know it all. You ask for help then when it wasn't what was suggested, you come back with "nah nah nah you were all wrong - i fixed it myself". Remember that we are all enthusiasts here trying to help other enthusiasts. We are trying to help you without seeing your car, and you are certainly not being charged any money for very good advice. We can only suggest the most likely things to check with the information we are given. But you make it really difficult for ANYONE (young or old) to want to help you. In fact a lot of good advice we give you seem to disregard.

    d) you seem to want to swear in nearly all of your posts. This is absolutely not required.

Please do us all a favour and stop coming to this site.

    Calm down Rhy_Boy1

I just spent a good hour reading a whole host of helpful contributions to your problem and your now blowing everyone off????

People here have just taken the time to read your problem and share their experiences be it useful or not. most of these suggestions have been based on past experiences.

The same thing you might do next time someone post up a question to say "Missing really bad"

Trying to diagnose a problem isn't always the easiest thing to do, why do you think people go to the effort of searching for good mechanics and specialists. Anyone can do an oil change, it takes a bit more knowledge to diagnose problems.

Despite some irate comments and some off topic arguments the people here were just trying to help so where the F*#k do you get off to say

As for solving your problem, you now have no idea where the problem actually was. Here is the reasons why

You removed your plenum which involves removing injector connectors, coil pack connectors and tps connectors. In the process you disturbed all these connections which could have temporarily freed up some corrosion or agitated a contact to improve the connection. By using bottled injector cleaner to clean your injectors, this would be considered a short term fix if your injectors were really that blocked. Depending on the type of injector cleaner it could also temporarily mask a problem in within your fuel system or even your ignition system.

The problem may very well be in your injectors if that is the case you need to get them cleaned professionally. Continued frequent use of injector cleaner will destroy your plugs and possibly your injectors.

My point is by using injector cleaner you haven't truly found your problem but instead you've temporarily masked it.

When you have a problem with a car there is a process of diagnosis by elimination. The likelyhood is the problem will come up again within the next few months and you'll go through this all over again. If not another problem will arise.

If I were you, don't go asking for help again without an apology.

Ryh, how did you get the plenum off without disconnecting the injectors? The harness for the injectors goes over the top of the plenum.

    Along with the coils.

Because he's a legend! :rolleyes2: He's too good for us, we're useless and he obviously doesn't need us.

I'd just let it go. Watch him come crawlin' later when the problem rises again. :D

A bit unrelated. Will be waiting for our apology vid. :)

This must be someone playing the charator of 81ING. :D

wow, i didn't know we still had that.

That was from a gaming forum, taken outa context there.. long story short. It was a bait, bait was taken and that vid was obviously never taken down :S I think i still got the bites to it somewhere... I'll try find them coz they are fairly funny.
Why were you searching rhy_boy1 in youtube :S

Reason I "blew up" was because my first post in this thread was to tell people what the problem was, and that it is now solved.
I then went on to say:
"Thanks for everyone's help, I learned allot."
Then everyone blew up for no reason and just posted stupid crap on the thread...
I never really started anything, I just wanted people to know what the problem was and how i fixed it. sept noone believes me so my car obviously just fixed itself..
