Missing in the wet

hey guys i dont have any idea what is wrong.............my car misses when it rains..........it needs to be pissing down but yeah when it gets wet it misses when ever i get over 3000 revs...........any ideas what is wrong with it...........on the good side i got my 19's put on today and they look awesome.............cheers guys

 

Corrosion on connectors

Clean all engine bay connectors, incl PTU, CAS + AFM.

 

Do u have a pod filter?

and/or louvered piece between the headlights?
If so, my money is on the pod filter getting soaked........

 

Do you have a pod filter

water interfears with the MAF, try a piece of duct tape on the front of the
pod , it usually stops this problem.
Also a bit of grease on the electrical connectors.

 

2nded on electrical connectors -

old 'froglegs' is right on the money.

Poor electrical connections which squeak by in the dry are exaggerated in the wet. Check em all including injector connectors...

 

I second and third jeffro and cbzx on that one! It is 110% your pod if you have one, i had the same problem, when it rained the car would not rev past 2500 and sturred and spat and sh!t lol. couldnt figure out wat it was. Now i have a shield over my pod filter, and ive never had the problem again
