QLD Mini Tech day - 27/7/08 Fate's ZED

Guys, i've been thinking about it over and over again all week.

I never really had my zed checked over when she died... I really don't want to sell her...

My experience with Turbo death led me to the assumption that turbo's had died, I have not been in a financially stable situation to repair until this week. Just so happens it's the same week i've had someone come and have a look.

he never has actually looked into why he can't 'boost' over 0 PSI. If one turbo has blown/siezed etc the balance pipe would equalise boost so he would see some sort of boost? Maybe he has a MOFO boost leak? Unknown

If it's easily fixable he won't sell his Z! (although he will have to respray it a different colour now )

 

Is that all the problem is? Boost? Sure you don't have an NA there?
I'd be keen for a look over it but I dont have a licence til next Wed. Sorry.

Does sound like the turbo...

When I put in the 2nd hand pair of GCGs into mine, it would only boost to atmospheric pressure. Spent ages trying to figure it out, eventually sucked it up and pulled the engine again to find the passenger turbo was seized.
I think he'd hear a mofo boost leak, unless he's deaf

It's not easy selling a zed I almost let mine go early last year.

I was the one that is meant to be buying fates Zed. Got the finance organized. $7000 worth of parts on order to get her up n hummin. Was just doing a final inspection this Wednesday then was guna pay n pick her up this Thursday.
Looks like Fate mite be changing his mind. I'm confused too man. Pretty cut

 

Mini Tech day cancelled -

Mini Tech day was cancelled due to me giving such short notice.

X Rollover - It was just typical Cold Feet, Decision to sell is final.

She's still being sold if passes inspection.

After more thought over the weekend I have come to the realisation that enough is enough. It's time for a new beginning.

Just last minute Jitters was all... as you'll soon experience once you own girl for yourself.

They're bloody hard to let go of under any circumstances.

I appreciate the confusing nature of this on again....off again sale(it's never easy to part with something you really don't want to sell) but a sale is not a sale until money changes hands(also, buying $7000 worth of parts to fix a car you haven't bought yet, is about a silly as selling one you don't want to sell, IMHO).:zlove::zlove:
