Hello all and welcome to my build thread! For those who do not know me my name is Michael and im from Melbourne, have been a member of this forum since 2004. This may seem crazy but this Zx im building is my 6th Z. My first Z was a black 2 seater NA manual and from then on they have all been 2 seater TT's. The last Z i had was a black 2 seater slicktop TT which was the best car ive had an i regret selling it. So to get over the depression and blues i have decided to build a car that will be better in every way shape and form Ok so let me introduce the car. 2 seater, slicktop, manual. RED The reason why i did not even hesitate to buy it, NA converted to TT with (NA diff and no HICAS) which i was going to do anyway BONUS :zlove: I purchased it off a new forum member sbug88 which some may know from the tech day at the zed shed. So its an NA converted to TT. I believe the conversion was taken from a 94 zx as the ECU has a part number of (94 TT Man 300zx - 23710-48P01) Major mods include Hitec computer 650CC Sard injectors Hi flow turbos Exhaust Intake From the paper work all this work was carried out in 2007. My goal for this is to build a quick responsive car which has a bit more of a set up towards race/track use to be used only as a weekend cruise car. So basically im not sure what psyco would have a white floor and yellow trim in red car so my first job was to return the interior to stock Then off came the ugly body kit and rims ready for the RWC inspecton So finally i got the RWC and have it transfered in my name ready to be absolutely transformed into an absolute beast UPDATES TO COME
guessing that yellow interior is that free centre console i grabbed when buying the seats off you. You'll be glad to know it's not yellow anymore....
UPDATE: Engine removed from car, looking gooooood! Turbos look brand spankin new. Not a drop of oil or or anything inside And the engine bay with engine removed

Lots of plans, not enough money Dont want to get in to detail atm will keep it one step at a time. I have decided to start with the interior first.
UPDATE: Some new parts that i have ordered started rolling in. Z1 Motorsports order - Cigarette lighter shroud - Chrome gauge rings - Centre Console - 300zx Titanuim key - Red stiched e-brake boot - Red stiched shift boot - Red stiched shift knob - Side pod globes - Seat belt covers - Windscreen check valves - Windscreen spray nozzles - Dual intake silicone elbows - Defrost button - Trim piece over radio - Instrument sidepods, they were purchased from nissan in AU as obviously need RH drive ones 300km/h Cluster purchased from a lovely forum member Had to have it as it had the red Z logo on it to go with the red/black theme My new floor matts. These were purchased off ebay, were meant to be the datsun logo ones but i asked for ones with 300zx on them but they said they only do datsun ones. Funny enough they sent me these lol. I was suprised how light these are. Fit in perfectly with my diet for the Z Complete windscreen cowl kit inluding all little clips and crap. Courtesy of the lovely Caz My favourite so far are the jet black non electric seats. Absolutely beautiful condition. Came with the 300zx logo in white but i have now turned them red, once again for my red/black theme. Although one logo seems to be much brighter then the other lol
Those seats are awesome. Good find! edit: yeah that center trim radio surround won't fit if it's from the US...
nice seats man im thinking about swapping someone my set of retrimmed black leather seats for some of those p.s u sure that centre console going to fit being from the states
Definately wont fit. i brought both and the angle on the top end is the opposite way for lh and rh sides.
