hey guys i'm looking at upgrading my ecu to motec so the microtech is going up for sale. Unit was bought about 12 months ago but has only done a couple of months work ecu is off of my vg30dett silvia and doesnt get driven all that often. all tuning has been done by tim possingham at horsepowerinabox. unit it set for vg30dett sale is for ecu loom microtech software and dongle for tuning The LT12S is Microtechs' latest 6 injector driver, 6 ignition driver ECU with multiple Auxilliary inputs and outputs. Most often used on 6 cyl and 3 rotor applications but also can be configured for 4 cyl vehicles. Wideband O2 software and 4 bar map sensor software and loom plug comes fitted as standard now.
Just a quickie Question. Who said that these units can be used on 4 cylinder engines? I only ask, as i had one of these myself up until a few months ago, before i sold it, and i thought about using it with my z18et (4 cylinder), but upon talking to microtech tech support they were firm on telling me that the units cant be used with 4 cylinders. And recommended i use the MT4 or LT10. Somewhat painful, as it was a convenient unit to have. But none the less, my info may be wrong and they were just trying to sell me something.... Where is your tune guy located, as eventually i may need to go see him if he knows how to tune Microtech well? Cheers. and many appologies for crapping in your FS thread.
