Hard wired, or plug n play? Which one would you recommend? What are the benefits of either one?

    Thanks

I have the LT12s fitted to my TT, which I think is hard wired?
Best to check their web site http://www.microtechefi.com/
or contact UAS in Sydney on (02) 9634 8000 as they fitted mine and others
on this forum and could spell out the pros and cons.

    pros and cons

    hard wired pros:

you can throw out MAF, FPCU, PTU and associated wiring loom connections

    cons:

ECU completely replaced so consult port no longer connected
    costs more to install

    piggy back pros:

    costs less to install

    cons:

think you still need MAF, FPCU, PTU

Do you have any info on this?

I like the idea of ditching the FPCU but cant figure out how its done and would prefer to do it myself than pay someone else because its something thats reasonably easy to do.

Also note you can only ditch the PTU if you have the LT12X or LT12S + X6 Igniter box.
