so with very quick and shitty research I’ve discovered that the main differences between the TT loom and the NA loom is the na doesn’t have the boost control sensor/wiring. (I’ll be Running manual boost T)
And the TT has a 2 stage fan (I’ll be running a single thermo fan hooked to a switch)
With these 2 obstacles mostly overcome, will the NA wiring loom work on my TT engine. It’s for a custom drift build so most sensors will be cut and lengthened and shortened ect ect

Also, if there are plugs and sensors I don’t plan on using, can I simply cut them off and not worry about it or will it start playing up with my ecu if I don’t use every sensor and wire?

No problem running the NA loom.

For removing sensors/wires have a look at the fault code list, anything there will throw a code if deleted. Off the top of my head sensors that will impact the tune if not installed include TPS, water and fuel temp sensors, knock sensor and obviously afm. Anything emissions related like egr and aiv wont be missed except by California spec cars.
When you cut the wires just make sure they're isolated/insulated and you're sweet
