should go for the adsl2+ ... i was looking around now long ago... like 60 bucks a month for 30GB download or something... I dont think anyone does unlimited anymore... and apparently i heard theres sposed to be some new faster internet thing comming out in like 6 months...? lol... try DODO... there cheap... but crap
tpg, but its slow (gamming) 45 or 50 i think im paying, im going to change though edit: its slow all over really... porn too
Have a look at the Whirlpool site, its inf about net connections and the like... http://whirlpool.net.au/
I had that deal.. till my mum canceled and got with some other crap... ring DODO... they dont do unlimited anymore... so dont get rid of it lol!!
http://bc.whirlpool.net.au/bc-plan.cfm http://bc.whirlpool.net.au/bc-plan.cfm whirlpool will tell basically all the deals that are out there. this should be ur starting point. 1.5Mb unlimited plans are what u want
$100 is how much true unlimited costs for 1.5 MB. I have that plan with Wild IT. I'm actually looking at changing to Let's Go. Bundle your phone and for around $70 p/month you get a phone rental (so no paying telstra) with + 50 Free local calls per month (used in the month) + Local Calls: 16 cents + STD Calls: 5.5 cents per min (no flagfall, charged by the second) + Fixed to Mobile: 27 cents per min (no flagfall, charged by the second) and a 60GB cap on ADSL 2. It's worth looking into.
true unlimited is pretty much gone now. i used to be with ozforces on a true unlimited plan. they were great, then telstra increased their prices so everyone else did also. after ozforces, wild I&T claimed they'll remain unlimited and offered free churn for all ozforces members. churned to them, 3 months later, they stop offering unlimited, cap your torrent (P2P) speeds and increases prices. sick of all the rubbish now, don't bother looking for unlimited. look for a good high set usage plan instead. unlimited is well and good when it works. from my experience, once the ISP starts going downhill, it won't recover and then you're locked in a rubbish plan on a 6 month contract.
Mate, that's EXACTLY what happened to me. Ozforces, then they changed their pricing and TOS on every1. Then I moved to Wild then they ****** us all over. Now I'm considering this "Lets Go" Mob. They are unheard of but sound good. Perth based too which is nice for me. Say they've been operating for 6 yrs now :O
These guys do shaped so once you go over they just cut your speed and you can get a 30gig limit http://www.acecommunications.com.au/services/Info - Ace ADSL One Information v12.pdf I use them at my work, they also have the 8000/384 plan, i dont use it but it lookd crazy
i found the best one i'm getting the ADSL2+, 1500 speed, with DODO, 60GB per month, for $60. i'm downloading a lot of french and english movies, some even are not in the cinema. if u want to download fast, use emule. i think 60GB will be enough anyway, thanks for ur advices
Dodo scare me. BTW, 1500 speed isn't ADSL 2. You should check that. ADSL 2 is 24000. and yeah, 60 GB should be enough. BE CAREFUL. from what I just saw at dodo, they don't shape you, they charge you for going over your cap. evil bastards see.
How about this? ADSL2+ HOME-Extreme-Value $59.95 Min: 1500k/256k Max: 24000k/1000k 20 GB Shaped HOME-Extreme-Pro $79.95 Min: 1500k/256k Max: 24000k/1000k 40 GB Shaped This is internode... I'm on the stock ADSL and download movie torrents in about 30 minutes at ave 5000k I think you could do way better then Dodo IMHO. Egg
he said its a ADSL2+ plan... you guys know adsl2 and adsl2+ are different right, and you can get them at 1.5mb. adsl2 has a max speed of 8mbps but a very long range, while adsl2+ has a max of 24mbps but has a short range, and only people close to the exchange can benefit these high speeds. there is practically NO unlimited plans now... considering majority of isps buy their internet of someone else and majority cap at around 33.3gig (ADSL only) ADSL 2+ on the other hand can feed alot more through their DSLAMS so im not sure of their limits as of yet.
