    Model: NA 2+2 Aus spec
    Year: 1995
    Transmission: Manual
    Interior: Velour
    Colour: REDDD

The other thread in the non related didnt seem it was in the right place. Getting a build thread up here:D, sure to do quite a lot in the next few weeks (hopefully). Was absolutely stock besides some eyesore, like that damn phone cradle that was drilled and bolted into the interior!

Got all the stock stuff and only the rear speakers being changed to 5x7s and an immobilser being installed. Aside from that dont think anything has been modified as far as i know. Serviced constantly by previous owner so it runs purrfectly even though its done about 240,000kms now.

So far, changed the front speakers to 6" Pioneer TSA1674S 3 way and the quarter panel side indicators to the clear lens.

Now to mention the bad points, theres a huge dent in the rear left quarter that needs to be fixed. Theres vibrations when i go above 100kmph, probably just unbalanced wheels. The bigger problem would be the very obvious wheel wobble when i tap the brakes above 80kmph, i'm guessing might be warped discs. The front lip is also ripped and the steering wheel leather trim is absolutely worn down.

Tis' all good under the hood though.

    Plans:
    -Fix the problems
    -Considering a plenum pull
    -K&N PODD to be fitted
    -Custom exhaust
-Waiting for ISO harness to put in new headunit
-Repair and probably modify the front lip
-Bought a set of rims, waiting on arrival and fitting
-Possibly a set of height adjustable coilovers

Aim to make a clean 300zx which goes. I would say sleeper but thats never going to happen in a Zed. XD

Nice 300, that interior looks like new. There is a lot you can do to still keep it clean and go well too :)

The wobble when braking could be warped discs as you mentioned, could also be made worse with a bad wheel alignment if you are noticing some vibrations through the wheel.

I'll be sure to keep an eye out on your progress. Nice photos too.

    Facilitating my garage

Cluttered mess, unorganised crap. Boxes and random parts put in no order what-so-ever. Just how my garage stands at the moment, barely equipped. All them car care products sitting together on the floor.

Only done a few things so far like the clear indicators and new speakers and headunit. Leather boots, gear shift and e-brake handle also.

Things are starting to move along now, progress is being made.

First up, the driver side cowl which is aged and damaged
    [IMG]
has been replaced with a new cowl thanks to SuperZ for the new cowl. Arrived extremely well packaged without a problem.

    Just a comparison of both...

As you can see, the passenger side has faded but is still in good condition, so nothing a good coat of paint won't fix.

Took the opportunity to paint my wiper arms as well as they have also faded due to age.

Lastly, just an experiment of the throttle cable cover.

Alright. Its been a while since i last updated this although i havent done much. Most of the light have been converted to LEDs where possible. Gave it a god polish and wax all around. Finally managed to get the rims i've been waiting for and some rubbers to go with it.

Will install a HID kit for high and low beam after i find the right kit when i go back to Hong Kong along with other parts like exhaust system and a brake kit. What HID kit am i looking for exactly to suit the high beam and low beam? Also what brake kits will fit on the NA without too much modification?

Havent had much time due to studies as well as trying to sell the car off. I sold the wheels to pay of for the steering repairs. The power steering seemed to have some problems, it would be heavy all the time but on rare occasions, the power steering will come back then go again after a few corners.

Changed the steering pump, belt but the same thing is still happening. Checking it out this friday and hopfully i dont have to fork out another fortune for a bunch of other stuff to be repaired.

Also got some great news from Hong Kong. This just got out of the workshop and back onto the streets.

Power steering solenoid at the bottom of the rack is your problem. Not uncommon to go and they make your power steering go on and off intermittantly.

It could also be the power steering computer in the passenger footwell. I had the same problem. $20 off ebay and problem solved, took about 2 minutes to install. Its the one with the red writing on it. (28500 43P10) will find it on ebay. Cheapest is $60 delivered atm
