no the intake JUN gears eliminates the VTC . Assuming you are talking about 270/10.25 cams? going that big you tend not to worry about VTC set up as you are chasing mid to topend power
correct but it cannot hurt having a bit more low-mid spool up. and you assumed right, was wondering as the tomei cam gears do the same, think ill go BDE. thanks for the help black beast. gl with the sale, good pricing too !
Just to classify rob? Your familiar enough with my build. I currently have BDE intake gears what would be the benefit of me using/installing these?
Adjustable cam gears are for dialing in aftermarket cams and tuning the power curve . A lot big cam builds remove VTC as topend power 8000RPM is in mind vtc gears are heavier too. leave yours as is .. although adjustable exhaust gears may be of benefit.. if you dont have them. .
