Welcome Boys and Girls to my 300 build,
After Finally getting some time and some inspiration from all the zed builds on here I am finally getting off my a$$ and doing something to it.

I first bought the car back in late 2010, and as a young little scamper it was an impulse buy, I bought the first one that I saw and I must say that I love the thing but I have spent alot of money and its done its best to keep me broke  Just like the missus haha.

But now The car hasn't moved for a while because of various coolant leaks and a noisey air con compressor, and it has been sad looking at her just sitting there, I have decided to Do something about it so here is what I done so far but doesn't seem like much

Changing the oil and filter every 5,000 k's
    Changing Plugs every 10,000 k's
Have done one plenum pull only to replace a passenger turbo hose

    and that's it not much

But now here is my list of what i want to get done

    1. another plenum pull but with water bypass
    2. Replace all coolant and Vac Hoses
    3. Remove Engine Grenade R....?
    4. 100,000 k Service
    5. Clean engine bay
    6. Polish various engine parts Plenum, Water Coolant pipes etc
    7. New Injectors
    8. Wire tuck
    9. New Exhaust system
    10. New turbo's or turbo Centre's
    11. Maybe a New ECU or replace all looms
    12. New coil packs
    13. New Clutch and flywheel
    14. New bushings all round
    15. Coil overs
    16. Big brake Upgrade
    17. New Rims
    18. Fix various Interior Bits and pices
    19. Retrim Interior/ Gauges
    20. New sound system
    21. Panel beat and respray
    22. New windshield and weather strip rubbers
    23. New Car trimming
and the list goes on and on and on

So essentially I am wanting a nice looking clean zed but it is going to be a while till this happens hahaha
    till this happens
Any way here is some pics of the car

IF you have an angle grinder these work very well on alloy.
    http://www.toolking.com.au/polishing-disc-multi-grit-pack-9-pieces/
They work like a scouring pad not a grinding stone and would allow you to polish the water pipes in about 20 mins.
They can be cut down and fitted on to a dremel for getting into the hard to reach places.

For a high polished finish use "Purple" alloy polish.
    Hope this helps.

Don't think you'll find that type of pads at bunnings or supacheap.

This is a link to a thread i did earlier in the year when i first started doing alloy.
I have since moved away from the Wet and dry paper, unless to smooth fine ripples.
The main polishing in the thread is using just the gray disc 240grit
