    Hey all,

After months of trying to fix my problems I've finally pulled the engine for a rebuild. I spent today with help from my friend pulling the motor out. It's not as bas as some people make out and I found it really easy to get all the bell housing bolts out.

Anyway just a few pics for anyone who cares lol.

All stripped and ready to come out

Well, its not going anywhere fast, poor Jericho.

Nice work. Good luck with the engine rebuild. Are you going to tackle the rebuild yourself, and what's your parts list?

Nope, I'm palming it off to rollin. It's just going to be a standard rebuild using some of the left over parts I was going to build a monster with. So metal headgaskets, arp bolts and I'm putting on some of Hypergears ATR25 turbos. I already have injectors etc installed so I can run a fair whack of boost. But I'm probably going to run it at 16psi.

can get alot closer, no leaning over, no worried about scratching it... with no front bar and not intercooler (na for me) then u can stand right up against head light cross member, get the engine crane closer..

better yet i could actually get a trolley jack under the front lol...

you can do it with it on yeah sure, just found a few more bolts and its a little easier...

Meh like it was hard anyway, we could have pulled that engine in a couple of hours

    IF

    A. We had done it before
    B. Didn't muck around

That includes labeling every single bolt we remove and can't put back in.

Trolly jack from the front? we didn't need that.

yeh the projects are going good, work commitments stopped me from assembling that engine :(, but thats on the cars to do soon.. my black 2 by 2 - have just fitted a trust aero kit i got from japan at the start of last year (sides and rear) not sure what front bar to run on it. prolly looking at comming back to bris in the near future
