Hey guys. I have installed the new SMic's today and came to refit the front bar and lights. The front indicator lights are too deep when it comes to refitting.

I have had a look and did a bit of a search and it seems that everyone has encountered the same or similar issues. Can you guys shed some light as to how you modified the lights to fit? Or does everyone who runs the SMIC upgrade run without indicators and uses the AUDM indicators where the foggies usually are?

I will be pretty shattered in this case as i would have preferred to keep the car looking as JDM as possible....

    thanks for your help

    Stan

I used a couple of washers some wire a drill and some solder.

just get creative, nothing to hard about it.

Can you be a bit more specific? Is there a writeup somewhere?

Did you use a different globe?

    I removed the side indicators

put mesh in its place so more airflow to the SMIC and replaced the fogs/spot lights with the australian version of the indicators/parker.

but I was interested in using the larger SMIC effeciently. and it does look good

I used Cheap aftermarket bulb holders, Cut them down so that the bulb sits further in and the back (where the cable comes out from the bulb holder) now sits flush with the indicator body
