    hi guys
wondering if any of you might be able to lend me some advise.i have been the proud owner of my zed for about 2 and a half years it has not given me an once of trouble and has always done its best to get me where im goin i would like to think i look after it with regular servicing and a timing belt kit when she hit 95000km all done with a "nissan specialist":YD all my trust in this great car has been shatter when 2 nights a go driving down the shops to get tea she stopped! i was sitting at the lights and the engine died and did not want to start. so i did what every self respecting zedder would do pushed it to the next corner and out of the view of the public.about half an hour later my brother arrived and after trying to start it a few times she fired and he took of down the road he told me that it was coughing and sputtering and after he gave it a pasting it cleared out and was ok.then an hour later i thought i would test it and took it for a 10 minute drive it seemed fine and did not miss a beat though i thought the oil pressure seemed low.the next morning i went to work but the car ran fine again. and on the way home it was last night that the car let me down when i again went for food and just refused to start after i had parked.
organising a tow and leaving the car for about 10 minutes it tried it and she started!!!!!!i took of for home but only made it half way where i was met with a sort of bang and then another push of the car. i think the key to this problem is that i had it serviced 1 week before all this happend and they might of knocked something to upset the car.any ideas on what that thing might be?
the other question i do the zeds have an auto shutoff for the cars when they have low oil pressure? and what oil do you all recomend for the cars?im going back to the "nissan specialist" on monday but any advise would be great!!!!

RedZedMikey RZM should now be DZM

Sounds like PTU to me >>>

Mine went (for the 1st time) with a backfire or bang similar to your description. It would start sometimes within minutes, sometimes within an hour, but eventually not at all.
