I had a handful of repaired PTU's in my garage and during the last few weeks (mostly during August) I have handed out four to forum members. No sooner had a member drove out of my driveway with another repaired PTU then I have just been contacted about loaning a potential fifth unit and I need to send another to Melbourne (back to the owner)....is it PTU failure season?

    Perhaps PTU's don't like winters?

    Dunno? Coincidence?

    Cheers

I have healthy series 1'loan' PTU if you need me to send it somewhere John?

Just let me know:) It was working fine on my 93 Zed, I only got the series 2 because of the stories i had heard and the US dollar being favorable at the time.

    PTU

just got a new PTU from the states landed at my door for $300.00. this is the new type with adaptor harness. only took 6 days by priority freight, is cheaper using slow boat freight.
