I'm pretty neutral on it to be honest I like ratrods when done right but then I don't like non essential clutter so the shite on the roof spoils it for me. If I thought it was utter crap I'd say - you know that :rofl: How does it go? if it can slap down an 11 sec qtr with all that junk on the roof then I'm liking it a lot, I've always wanted to turn up at the drags in a ute loaded with hay on the back and throw down a 10 :br::rofl: (the rules might spoil that one though)

Its a well worked up engine in that thing, Usual clobber for an e15, runs a Disco, big front mount with 3" staino pipework, Microtech, A cutom grind "Stage 4" cam, big custom billet valves and extensive headwork blah blah. It actually does the business if let off the leash. On stone stock stock street rubber with a car full if ICE id happily runs 14 flat. Might not sound impressive but the car is seriously loaded with amps, subs... you name it. No attention to lightening at all. I cant remember what the significance is of the clobber on the roof basket. It deliberate tho along with every other bit of kit including that so not fitting front lip thingo held on with large cable ties! The rusty bonnet/bootlid colour is au naturale and clear coated to preserve! Its a constant work in progress!!!!! You gotta have a sense of humour to appreciate it but it seems enough Qld'ers appreciated it enough to vote it Best Overall Public Choice at last years Classic Japanese nationals held at Lakeside Raceway!!!!! Any why does that not surprise me!!! LMAO! Now, I looked a bit further, The engine in that thing is quite a heavy hitter netting 174.5Kw ATW @ 7000rpm on a conservative 19psi tune. He has made a couple of low'ish 13 sec runs @ 105mph. That was with the ICE pulled out tho but still on street rubber and an open center 3.55 diff. No traction at all. A locked 4.16 N13 box is on its way. hell spend most of his time lunching driveshafts and unis now. Way it is with these little shopping trolleys! He was over the thrill of the actual race and more in to the technical challenge I guess.
