Hey guys. Old man is interested in the following Z32: https://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Nissan-300ZX-1993/SSE-AD-4868764/?Cr=11 But the description doesn't list much and was wondering if anyone knows if the owner is on here, or the likely history of the car? Also never owned a Convertible, wondering what some common pitfalls to look out for are. Cheers, Emile
Get the VIN & someone will run it through the FAST system for you. Given the age of these vehicles the primary concern would be engine condition, so a compression test could prove to be a worthwhile investment. It looks OK in the pics, but you'd have to check it out. You can generally tell whether a vehicle has been well cared for before you open the doors or lift the bonnet. You've been around these cars long enough to know what to look for.
Make sure all the convertible bits work properly. Some of them are very hard to get these days apparently. Looks like it needs paint too, lots of stone chips, crazed bit on the bumper. Should come up half decent with a proper polish though.
