    Does anyone know the inside diameter of a std TT exhaust manifold (bit that bolts to the head) or one after it has been extrude honed please
    cheers

    It's not round, its more of a stretched circle shape. Don't know the dimensions though.

    Yes outside is 46 x 51 anyone want to guess how thick the wall is
    Looking back up the ports they seem quite thick

    They are oval shaped and are 43 x 30 roughly

    44 x 30 is the port dimension where it bolts to the head what I want is the dimension if you cut it half between say #1 cylinder and #3 cylinder (in the Connecting bit from one cylinder to the next)

    You would need to cut one to get any real idea, the stock one im holding right now looks and feels like its around 5-6mm on the outside wall. Cant imagine the extrude honing removing more than 0.5mm.

    For the cost of extrudahoning you might as well get some MSP/AMS manifolds. Or port them by hand, Eric did mine.

    Fill them all up with water
    So seal the manifold (head plate) off with a bit of flat and fill the manifold up with water till you cant get anymore in thru the turbo mount - then tip it into a measuring jug
    STD = xx cc's
    hand ported = yy cc's
    Extrude hone = zz cc's
    AMS
    MSP
    Hand port would be interesting - apart from 20mm either way from the port opening - I cant see how you can get much further

    I have Stainless tube manis here and the front pipe is 41mm INSIDE Dia this connects to the #3 cyl / #5 cyl pipe which is 45mm INSIDE Dia
    I want to make some out of 38mm INSIDE Dia steam pipe and wonder if I am too big - too small or just right - sounds like goldie locks lol
