An older guy that doesn't know a lot about cars..... someone hold me up...lol it may have been well maintained but it wasn't roadworthy... again sorry but that just don't add up.....
From what I can gather, he wasn't aware that his indicator lenses weren't ADR approved... Honest mistake I would think. He knew everything else was in order. That's why he offered the RWC at $200 extra on top of the sale price.
To me it was bizaarre to find out the guy didn't know his lights/indicator lenses weren't roadworthy.... anyway hope you do actually get your zed....
I bought my MR2 thinking that it was roadworthy... It cost $3000 to get on the road Not everyone is mechanically minded.
Yeah it actually makes me a lot more confident in the car knowing that the roadworthy has taken 3 days for "a few little things". Thorough roadworthy = less problems for me
just some fussy and clueless asshole at the joint doing the rwc, if they are nismo sides they are road worthy with orange globes. if the ol' chap your buying your ebay zed from kept the clear globes in, then its unroad worthy. so am i right, is it a 2nd hand engine thats been dropped in 30,000km ago or was it rebuilt?
Ahhhhh the seller just called me and woke me up just to say that the car won't be ready til Monday I want a discount for the sleep I lost Honestly, who wakes someone up at 9am on a Saturday morning?
Someone who hasn't ground off all the VIN numbers yet and is waiting for it to be resprayed from the chop shop... lol jokes.
take that long?? the indicators cant take that long. probably belows are his doing list: cleaning the oil underneath. winding back the odo sealing the radiator with "stop leaking" stuff and adding unknown green liquid to the radiator so it looks good. adding "stop smoke" and "noise free" to the engine. zip tie on some guards. sanding back the orange peels. bogging up the chassis. straighting the suspensions. making receipts etc. LOL
Nah, coz they had to source the indicators/foglights and didn't have enough time to get the car to the mechanic in time. Will be done first thing on Monday apparently. I might just have to take a day of annual leave...
