how much coolant should i put in the

    radiator??? it says 50%coolant 50% water but i do not know the radiators capacity.thanks.....

    Buy a bottle of 100% coolant...>>

    then pour it into a bigger container, and add the same amount of water. Top up your radiator with this mixture, and you'll be pretty close to correct.=) Cheers

    Sounds like you've had a rewarding 24hrs?

    ... BTW: Don't be surprised if you lose a little coolant when u first test drive & get the system up to operating temp. The [closed] system will find it's own level. From then on, monitor the level in the expansion tank daily, when cold, for the next few days. [Thereafter, weekly.]Only ever top up up with the SAME %ratio & SAME brand of inhibitor.PS. A healthy system should need little or no topping up - like mine after 100k service + 2000 k's {Gilgandra} and more = zero loss.

    yes i have

    had to stop work around 1am as i needed to grind the rounded end off my long series allen key,would have woken the neighbours.woke at 11am lol fiddled for a while and now she is all fine running great...
