    nuh mines a street car , .
i al so dont want switcher and stuff in the car this is why i would like it to be connected to the ecu ,

im staring to think that switching it of completely is not really a good idea as mugsy has pointed out , ( and i agree )

so how do we minimize is , ( if the pump goes well i can always get more ).

so on a stop , it comes on and as we go up in speed it will gradually go down in power ,
any new suggestions to make this happen ?

nuh mine is all gone , as well .the solenoid is powered by 12 volts constant to give it full soft at any speed , that was all taken out years ago , but now that leaves me with a problem finding the wire to trigger it .

what pin is the pwm control ( are we back at the jaycar control unit ? ) i can pic one up tomorrow ,

ECU/electronics is not my thing so bear with me .

ATM im at , get a jaycar unit and power it up via the PWM control switch ,? is this correct ?
or power the jaycar unit via the speed control wire?

Im currently using the KC5378 frequency switch in my subaru to control the air con pump. (aftermarket ecu fitted)

The unit itself has an inbuilt, adjustable threshold and timer. Meaning that (to use your example) if a certain point was found (say hitting 50kms/h) it would switch the pump off. Giving you your firmer wheel. After reducing speeds to below 50kms/h it would want to turn the pump back on to give you your lighter wheel. The time at which it takes to turn back on after coming down from the 50km/h reference point, is tunable. You can make it (for example) 5 seconds. Or 30 seconds. You could adjust this to suit your road/track conditions. On track you mightn't need it that long at all as your low speeds will mostly be around pits, or offs. So this means on road it would be convenient for traffic and parking.

You might even wish to make it as low as 25kms/h as at that speed wheel movement is quiet easy.

For the money, they are an excellent unit. As mentioned i use mine to switch the ac pump on/off when (my reference signal point) a certain % of pedal is used. eg. 60% pedal movement. aka wanting harder launches. It turns the pump off (when the ac is on) and will only switch it back on 20 seconds after normal pedal usage is found.
