just noticed this morning that my immobiliser now does not unlock or lock the doors it did before the trip to gilgandra. its a cyclops s35i if that helps. what im wondering is if a wire might have worked loose and is no longer completing the circut to the doors the indicators still flash to arm and disarm by the way also. any help would be great i almost forgot how to unlock my dorr without the button :D joking cheers guys...

    First thought >>>

    >>> connector in driver's door to locking motor may have come adrift? Does pass door lock?Don't go pulling the door trims off just yet as someone may post more info.Cheers, Rob.:-Z

    Sounds like it could >>>

    >>> be the main control unit or the connection from it that feeds the door lock actuators.Cheers, Rob.:-Z

im going to check the drivers door >

tomorow was talkin with pregs and he tells me the drivers door is the main circut and the passenger piggy backs off it hoping its as easy as a loose wire anyways =) there's no praying smiley can we have one!!!! hehehe

    Try this.........>>

Jump in your car and lock and unlock the drivers door while watching the passangers door. The factory system has solenoids in both doors that work as a master and slave, which is why if you unlock the drivers door with the key the passangers door unlocks but if you unlock the passangers door then the drivers stays locked. For that reason most alarm companys only place an actuator on the drivers door mechanism and not in both doors, so if the factory part works but the remote doesn't it may just be a problem with the alarm.

from memory i dont think that before this issue came up that when accidently bumping the drivers inside door lock that the passenger didnt follow and unlocked and locked. ill have a look for loose wires tomorow and go from there worse case i guess is get someone to look at it ouch :>< already got something to get done next week before the track day..
anyways cheers for the ideas guys
