hello all, it seems all z's are just as hard to work on. I just need some info on removing the plastic panels in the boot to get to the speakers. it seems to be impossible to get to the speakers. i tried to get them out by removing the plastic bit that runs along the back and wigling the side peices around but was too woried that i would break them if i tried to move them any more. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Pat
260zx with speakers in the boot? Only thing I can think of is the panel that covers all the tail light wiring, and although its a tight fit it can come out with a little bit of flexing.
i got the rear long peice out that runs across the back of the car with those clips. i unscrewed the side panels wich had all but 1 screw in each missing. these are the panels i need help with. i try and lever them out from under the gas struts that are there for when you open the boot but i can't seem to get them out. They have a 6" speaker behind them. i wish i could get to the speakers without removing these panels. such a PITA
