noticed no warm air coming through when using demisters and air on a cold night ...all fans work and aircon ..just no warm heating ..
only had car for 3 months ,so unsure but well get it checked ..thanx for your help..which is best place to get one through if need one ..??
Theres a lot of reasons why the heat does not work and being bypassed because the core was leakinh is just one!. You need to check that first. It will be pretty straightforward as the heater hoses at the back of the motor will not be connected to the heater core pipes and simply just looped together. Next is the heater tap which is controlled by a cable coming of a servo motor. The cable might have come off the tap arm or the servo motor has died. Perhaps the servo motor wiring has popped out of the servo or disconnect from the AC/heater control ECU loom. Does the air re-direct to the screen and the fan speed up when the demist button is pressed? If that happening then the ECU itself is probably ok. One thing is for sure, fixing ANYTHING to do with the Zed heater is going to be a fair bit of work and reasonably difficult and fiddly. However, it is all dooable with time and patience. Good luck E
