I went to replace a blown headlight globe. I cannot seem to get the metal clip thing that holds the globe in place to click back in. I spent 30 mins with no luck! I am sure that I am just missing something simple - are there any tricks to getting this clip back on?

yeah, the trick is getting the bulb holder to sit right...

I'm sure there are pics and info in the tech section that show how they sit.

Make sure it is seated in right before pressing in
It should as simple as locking it in.

If it is not going in - something is wrong
Either the metal clip has been bent
There is something stopping the globe from sitting in flush
    It is not seated right
    The clip isnt seated right

    ........or the bulb is wrong

Refer to the other side for how it looks if you get stuck - always good to compare if in doubt

Thanks guys. The first time I replaced the globes the clip basically found its slot on its own. Looks like the globe just needs to be pushed in abit further
