    If you have your stock key, there is a code just at the middle where the metal meets the plastic. If you haven't got the original anymore then you're SOL. I think it might also be written somewhere else, but don't quote me on that. Getting the keys cut from the code will also likely yield a slightly difficult/jiggly key to turn, as the keys and tumblers will age together and getting it cut from an aged key will have a similar curvature to the aged key, but a brand new key will have no wear at all and will not quite mesh perfectly with the worn tumblers in the ignition barrel and other barrels for that matter.

    I knew you were going to say that, so much so that I was going to write "Chris will tell you it was my mother", but then I would've felt foolish if you'd then proceeded to not have said that. There's a place on South road that I'll be getting to cut my key from their machine. They did my mate's Ti GTR key, from the code so I'll trust them with my Z key :p
