hey probably a stupid question and has probly been asked allready,
but i didnt no wat it was called.

but wat is the guage inside the rpm gauge for? the kg/tmp or something is it the oil temp gauge? and wat temp should it be sitting on and at wat temp should i be worried? and also how do i fix it if it is getting hot?

coz when i start my car it climbs to about half way and if i rev to hard it climbs alil further, but after about 5-10mins of driving it goes all the way down

i think idle it should be around 2-4....it will obviously go up as you go up through your rpm....

as said above....stock gauges aren't that accurate....to get a decent reading, get an after market one

and is it bad if it gose up to the max? its weird coz i swear for awhile i hadnt really gotten any reading from the gauge and it never went up, and now its started doing stuff i was a bit worried that maybe something was wrong, i changed my oil yest to see if that effected it, but nopeee, nothing =\

as the temp gets lower when cold the reading will go higher. when starting on a cold night in canberra is gets close to the 8

Have you recently changed your oil? Mine started working once I changed over to Mobil 1 fully synthetic. I put it down to the sensor getting a good clean by the decent oil.
