Im planning to get these turbos - Z1 300ZX GT675RS Turbo kit (GT28 RS) Coz - Turbos I know if i buy this kit i will also need to buy 5 bolt dump pipes, but what else is needed to make it a direct bolt on. Is everything i need included in this kit? cheers guys
Ali hold off for a few weeks mate. Mark at GCG is working his magic on a special setup for us Z32 guys and will be available in anything from a 300hp turbo to a whopping 440hp capable turbo. So yeah hold off mate for a few. Cant say too much yet but watch this space
Jason thats 300-440hp each right? If so, you got me waiting PS: Nice job at the autosalon mate Car looked like a silver bullet standing still and loved those NOS bottles. Inspired me to take the zed out and thrash it for 3 hrs on a beautiful 17C night. I was really happy, the bigger brakes, Tien suspension and 262rwkw felt awesome. Didnt overheat and just very reliable, i felt like i did bathurst or something haha. Btw Jase what did you think of the Blue zed with the white speed lines at the entrance? My favourite car was Mohammads Ferrari 360 Modena from queen st. Twin turbo setup sitting on 22" wheels and a beautiful candy apple paint job with suede interior. Also the 6sec 1/4 mile Queen St M3 BMW which was easily the best car their. Will post up pics soon if anyone wants.
Thanks for this comment Jason, I was going to make a turbo choice this week ... guess I'll hold off as well. Can you at least say whether both 4 and 5 bolt dump types will be offered? I was favouring the GT2530's, but at the moment have only committed myself to a 4 bolt gasket kit.
i've just about made up my mind on the gt2530's as well, they seem to be the best midrange turbo's out there, not that i know a lot about turbos

Sorry your on drugs. Thats rwhp its talking about. What other turbos in a kit make 600-700rwhp for under 3kUS? This is nearly the same kit UAS had offered here for 7k aside from some pipework. My opinion AK is its a good kit. Bolt on, shouldnt need any mods or give any problems. I'm running the same kit on my car and will hope to test that 700rwhp claim.

Who are GCG and what is a magic setup? Does this simply mean "turbo selection" or some kind of fabrication or modification?
I seen alot of GCG stickers and promo at the autosalon, and i would be cautious on the performance claims and further more on there reliability. The coz kit is the same as the one UAS was offering for nearly twice as much (i dont know why) and apparently Z1 has even modified it too spool up quicker then a standard set of gt28rs. I think its a bargain if its a straight swap and all i need is 5 bolt dumps.
Just so you know... When I went from the stock four bolt turbine housing to the five bolt, I had a fabricator modify my tune agent dumps to a five bolt flange
Nah! Mark @ gcg is a straight up guy, what wild hp claimes did gcg make ak? and how do you know the claimes are not true?
I said i would be caustious, as i would with any other new turbo brand comming into the market. I dont know anyone running these turbos and asked a few mates at the autosalon and they all were like rather stick to garrets because you know what your getting, thats all. I mean if Mark makes these turbos and gunea pigs a zed so we can see what his turbos have then ok, otherwise i wouldnt want to be the first to put them on my car not knowing how they perform and how reliable they are. Know what i mean, i dont have anything against the guy - he must be a top bloke to think of us zedders in the first place haha
