Hi all, Just wondering if you guys know of any places with good 300zx mechanics around syndey, preferbly around the Liverpool region. I know of UAS in Castle Hill, but I heard it cost an arm and a leg there, I'm looking for a more affordable place. My Z32 needs so many mechanical repairs, its just not funny anymore. Mate its a bit hard to say See UAS might be expensive but they also know what they are doing. Where it would take UAS to do a job in 1-2 hours it might take someone else 3-4 which in turn may cost you the same. Further more you may have some things over looked.. Also. There are only a handfull of some really Z orientated mechanics that really know their shit.. What do you need done. You may get some assistance of the forum.. All depending of course..?
Word. Dead right. Do it right the first time, or you might get it done right the 5th time. Use someone reputable and dont suffer noobie mistakes.
Dont believe all that you hear. Yes they charge $98 an hour which is expensive for lube mobile but cheap for a specialist (ie Nissan etc). Also on a by the job basis I have never found UAS to cost more than I have been quoted elsewhere. And as already mentioned yes they do a kickass job becuase they know what they're doing and the mechanics there get ALOT of practise! I think twice now I've had my car at UAS to repair other people's fuckups.... so what's expensive? Do yourself a favour and at least check them out
Autotech engineering in granville (20 george st), had my 100km service done, and a powersteering leak fixed there (fixed a few other things along the way). With all performance cars you are going to pay more than normal (Perk of the pleasure). Check them out anyway, number is : 9897 3473.
