I am attempting to install my gauge rings that I have had sitting in my drawer for over 18 months now.....
    Yeah I know I am slack :)

For all those who have already installed theirs, what adhesive did you use?
Basically I know that in cabin temps will soar this summer and temp range throughout the year is quite varied so i want something that lasts and wont become brittle after a few years.

I am thinking super glue is not viscous enough. Maybe Alraldite?

    thoughts?

    Superglue should be fine??

I haven't fitted mine yet either......but when I bought them from John at CRESTA.......he said to use a TINY amount of superglue!!!......not too much otherwise it will ooze out onto the black surround & dial etc & look like crap!!! :(

When John (Cresta) put mine on, he just used a little bit of superglue on each one - just a few dots. He did a great job and they came up nice and shiny! :D Just remember - after you've glued them on, give them a light going over to remove any fingermarks and do the same to the inside of the clear plastic cover that goes in front of your dash cluster. Last thing you want to see after you've put it all back together is a great big dirty fingerprint on the inside!

i did mine about 6 months ago. i used a tiny dab of superglue, didn't even really need it. when i put them on they were quite tight fitting in, but put a couple of dabs on each side with a cotton bud, then let it dry. when they were drying, i wiped off any excess that had oozed out.
the centre ones fit snug, the petrol and temperature were a little more loose.
    cheers
