I am doing a NA to TT conversion along with turbo and injector upgrade so the NA pump will not keep up A new TT pump from Coz is $300 plus freight Hmmmm Bosch 044 is an option but wont like running less than 12 volts http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showthread.php?t=289998&highlight=bosch My concern with full 12 volts on a 40 deg day at traffic lights or heavy traffic - air cond on - low fuel level in the tank - the fuel will get warmer - yes the fuel temp sensor will compensate but the factory pump set up would be an advantage in this senerio Walbro have this for a 350Z which will have plenty of flow http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/15084218...AX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649#ht_4046wt_906 Didnt really get a sensible answer when I asked about running at less voltage Need to contact Walbro direct I think This was a good reference - been on the forum a few times - good read http://www.stealth316.com/2-fuelpumpguide.htm My latest idea is to run 2 Walbros - 1st pump does everything up to the point where boost comes on and then the second pump come on This could be achieved with my TT ECU and exsisting NA Fuel controller Comments please
The TT pump will work, no guesswork, no adapting, proven. Theres lots of other options around, but at what additional cost to make it work ...
For that power a new TT pump will be fine. If you are worried about voltage drop, run some larger dedicated fuel pump power cables out to the pump direct from the battery through a relay.
Running twin at that power level is overkill - if a new TT pump is too much try and find a good condition used one
