    Hi there,

Today is the day I might be pulling the engine to diagnose a Cylinder misfire issue.

After a metallic noise my car runs on 5 cylinders at idle but runs on all 6 at 2k and above.

Car backfires off the gas and smells strongly of fuel, all usual suspects checked.

    Compression test results in

    135
    90 <---- problem cylinder.
    135

Just wanted to ask one more question before I rip it all apart.

My friend noticed the pintle on the cylinder that wasn't firing had a dull varnished look to it, all the others are shiny.

Any ideas what could cause this?

    WhiteNight Littering and...

    Are they stock injectors?

If it was rebuilt and one happened to be a different injector thrown in...
