Reversing sensors 4 complete with digital displays are now very cheap $20-$30 on Ebay. Just bought a unit for $30 + will mount the sensors on the Mesh of the front bar-don't like the thought of drilling holes in the bar. Will wire to Radio or Clock circuit with separate switch. May trial 2 sensors front + rear. Have any members actually installed sensors + can provide info on their operation. Sick of guessing distances for front bar to kerbs etc.

Look for 'Lenycik SoldSmart Online Auctions Store'. They have a range of Sensors in different colours + don't charge $30+ for postage as do Hong Kong distributors. They charge $9.0 anywhere in Aus. Specs look as good as any I have seen, + LED readout unit looks ok. Normally retail $126. Cost me $30.

yeh thought about going down this route as well.
jaycar have a good kit for this as well, but you have to drill into your front bar, the sensors are flush mounted etc. though.

i find that most carparks i now reverse into anyway as its easier to get out, usually easier to get in and i don't risk my front bar.
hit the tailpipes a few times though

    Sensors

I will be getting mine done on the rear bumper with reverse sensors also with a camera via the head unit, these things need to get drilled in the bumper bars. There are infared ones out their as well but still need to be drilled. Havent really considered the front. I wouldn't recommend the cheap versions get something of good quality.

    Good luck with it
