i currently run the standard clutch until the $$$'s will allow more, i am after a lighter item which will carry a fair bit of power.
Q.1. any recomdations on shaving the stock flywheel vs new light weight item?Q.2. are there any aftermarket clutch dealers on the eastern side of australia(new resident from w.a.) eg os giken and the like?

u might want to check out the

concept z performance website for single plate fly wheels. They sell a JWT lightened flywheel for $350 USD. Also if u are looking for a twin plate, the twin plate clutch kits use a different fly wheel than the single plate clutch kits thus the twin plate kits usually come with their own fly wheel. OS Giken has their own fly wheel with their twin plate kit.good luck searching:YD

    What application

What power do you have Rabbit, and road or circuit, drag use?
By the way all multi plate clutches come with flywheel to suit. Very few zeds actually need a multiplate clutch.
If Martin wrote that the VG 30 is better motor than RB 26 then this is a turn around. Very confusing.

interested in the osgiken double plater. but anything that wont break the bank will do as long the wieght is kept to a minimum. what is the ave price of a strong single plate if you say i may not need double.

    What mods

Have you had it on a dyno?   What mods ? as nothing in your profile?
A strong single plate 5 button will hang onto over 300 kw at wheels no probs. Over 350kw well maybe not and will ware out quicker that is for sure. Twin plates ware out also though. Multi plate clutches are much harder to drive with genreally and not so good for road use and harder on gear boxes. If you need it then get one but most who have multi plate clutches don't need them.
Also sprung centre are nicer to drive with.
