What a mission this bar has been but I'm proud to show yous the finished product. Again a big thank you to brisz for suprising me with the mesh. I'm sending a heap of good karma your way mate so watch out for it. Now I would like to point out why I've done it in this colour scheme. When you paint something you try to highlight it good points and features. With black the contures and lines fade into each other and you lose definition. Not with this sucker. Now I may be an idiot but I'm not stupid. I got all the rite gear for the job, even had Malz mix up a special gold for me. You'll notice the highlighting in the gold contrast too. So pictures tell the story. I have custom made all clear lens's with LED's going on soon. Had to do something special. Next week hopefully and they're in.
I was going through old pics to get an idea of what I've been up to. So here's a comparison. By gargoyle123 at 2011-07-23 By gargoyle123 at 2011-07-23
I made up two little hooks and out of a coat hanger and pulled the mesh up to stickaflex, that black crap, that I dabbed on the inside lip.
Very smart looking, and the pipes came out good to. You've set the bar at a very high level for the rest of us, thanks
I personally like using a hot glue gun for putting on mesh, as its flexable and durable enough for moving with the vinbrations of the car, and possible flexing which mar occur. Also looks great, the mesh suits it great, I reckon the mesh would look even better sprayed with a high glitter black and lots of gloss though , just to go with the dark tone of the car!
