Can anyone point me in the direction of somewhere i can find out about fiberglassing. I have been looking around and found out how to do it in general. But im wanting to know how you create the inital shape the you you want the fiberglass to conform to. What do you use. any help would be great.

either that or anyone know of someone that does custom sub boxes and dosnt charge the world for it in brisbane.

I was looking at learning to fiberglass this christmas as somthing to do and a new skill to learn.

I went to Adult Community TAFE courses to learn

how to make fibreglass parts from moulds and then I did an advanced course in mould making. I also have a book on it which helps jog the memory.

    hands on

If you were willing to drive to toowoomba. 1 and a half hours west, I am building a custom bodykit for my zed at the moment, I will be doing it every day basically for the next two weeks. I would be willing to teach you a few things.

You can do just about anything with fibreglass, and it is relativily simple once you know the basics of it. The are certain good features about fibre glassing a sub box if that is what you want to do, and it will probably work out cheaper if you use fibre glass and do it yourself as well.
