Nothing has changed much Since you were last here Richard, JP is still top of the tree with his 10.7 followed by Colin Brodie with his 10.8 and yourself next if memory serves me correctly. About the only thing that has really changed is the number of people who have been having a go and manageing to get themselves into the 12 sec bracket. Are you planning on having another go?, be good to see the bar get raised again.:biggrin:
Hopefully we'll get the AMEC-mobile out to the drags with some slicks to see how it goes. Got a 4.3 diff now
Slicks and 1st gear should work Pete. You will be surprised how much stickier slicks are than the RE55 semi slicks. I can spin my RE55's in 3rd gear at 90kph but cant spin the MT's in 1st. Run the slicks at around 12-15psi and do a big 2nd gear burnout. 4000rpm launch and grab 2nd quickly should see a sub 1.6 60ft.
You mean youre dusting off your Z ? When I visited the Workshop a while back you car was covered in dust and in 100 pieces..
