Im about to install a full N-Tune exhaust system to my Z before it sells.
Noob question as I have search but can not find the name of the part.

My question is what is the pipe coming from the front of the exhaust that runs into the wheel arch and can it be disconnected and deleted.

I know there is a name for it and most of you would have already disconnected it by now.

    Thanks in advance.

That's the pipe connecting to the AIV's on each side. And yes, can be disconnected and blocked if AIV's are deleted properly...

    ok thats

just found the tech on it.
Do you just leave the power cable to the solenoid unplug and covered up.

    Yes, just disconnect the solenoids.

What you can do is take the solenoid out and just block the two small hardpipes on the side of the plenum. That would also make you around 50grams lighter... :)

Oh yeah, got mixed up! That's what happens when you delete both egr and aiv solenoids in one go... LOL!
