i'm looking at a few different cars atm, from a nice 2+0 slicktop to a r33 gtst.

i need to raise as much money as i can so i can buy a new car, as much as i LOVE these wheels theres no point in me having them if there going to sit in my garage.

this is the only pic i have from before i got the new tyres.

how they looked on the zed

these are a two piece forged wheel, there very light and looks great.
the +22 offset looks incredible on a zed, depending on how low you go they will fit with a simple guard roll but a guard pull will enable perfect fitment with a good set of spacers and coilovers.

they have got brand new 225/45 r17 tyres, i cannot remember the brand atm but the tread is great and has only had about a months use.

the wheels can do with a solid polish, i have done part of the "dish" and it came out great, i just never really had the time to sit down in the garage and hand polish the wheels.

i'm looking for $1200, these are a two piece forged japanese wheel, brand new they sell for $1130 EACH!

    Clarification needed.....

How are they 2 piece wheels  They are Advan Sa3r wheels which are ONE piece wheels. The centre is welded into the rim.

Why would anyone try to fit Gtr wheels (9" +22) on a zed  They are totally the wrong offset on the rear.

Why would anyone want 225/45 on 9" wheels  That seems crazy, and dangerous. I'm assuming that was the only way you could get that offset on the rear of a 300zx.

I would suggest listing them on the Skyline forum instead of here, at least somebody might be able to use that offset.

    Benny_C About as subtle as...

They are a nice looking rim indeed, and extremely light for those who are looking to save some rotating weight. (i can vouch for this) :zlove:

I also don't mean to have non-related input on this thread but i do want to clarify just one thing, a 9" rim ideally suites a 255 tyre, not a 225 or a 235. therefore the +22 offset is wrong if you wanted to use the ideal 255 size tyre on them as they won't fit under the guards. This is no doubt why you've had to use a skinnier 225 tyre for them to fit. (i'm running a 9" wide on the front with a 235 tyre and there is a fair bit of stretch on those, let alone a 225)

So in summary if you want to buy these 9" rims with the +22 offset, you'll only be able to use a skinnier 225 width tyre and have to roll the guards for them to fit on your Z32.

I just think this is something that needs to be clear for potential buyers thinking that they can proper fatter tyres on these rims when they won't fit. I appologise but feel it was needed to be mentioned. Also this way the buyer has nothing to come back at you for :)

    Cheers,
    Benny. :zlove:
