    CrestaJohn NEW 'OEM' PARTS

I am bringing in high pressure pwr steer lines for the TT and was wanting to guage the amount of numbers needed or people interested in replacing worn ones.

    These are available through:
    Nissan @ $264

I will be selling these @ $196 inc GST

    These are genuine OEM.
Compare prices - this is a pretty good price.

Can also bring NA ones but hadn't planned on it but I can order if needed.
    NA ones same price.

    Cheers guys
    John

I wouldn't mind some stainless braided ones for NA, price pending, if you decide to go down that route.

Me too! Me too! /\ :zlove: Mine leak intermitently... I had a leak, it killed the original alternator over 15 years, I got a new one, the lines still leaked a bit so i made a little splash guard for the alternator. Guess what happend, the leak stopped, always the way isn't it

Not a bad price John, for brand new equipment

there should be a good demand.

Especially as a large percentage of zeds I've seen have some sort of power steer leak and it is almost always from the centre crimp on the hi pressure hose that runs from the pump to the steering rack.

Anyone who has a leaky hose (power steering that is) should know that if left unfixed it WILL eventually stuff the alternator also (as it's positioned right below).

Many people just keep topping up the fluid in the ps reservoir which is an interim fix but is false economy if you then have to replace the alt also.

from memory, places like enzed or pirtek could do these for like $90.

generally speaking, my memory is not to be trusted however.

    Still cheaper than OEM Stu.

I hadn't gone any further with this as the majority seemed to going for the Enzed/Pirtek replacements.

Yea if I wasnt in such a hurry I would have got OEM. Both my high pressure hoses have massive leaks as well as my rack end which i have managed to get repaired under warranty.

God I hope I remember how to put all this back together... lol

    I haven't ordered these guys.

Until I get some more numbers, I probably wont.
If I can get say - 10 , then it may be worth doing but until then, I'll keep it on the backburner for a possible order next run.

If I do order them, I'll post a thread.

    Cheers guys
    John
