Engine Pipes

    Hi iv`e just got new exhaust engine front pipes for my 300zx tt but they dont have the small pipes on the front of them , can some tell me what the small pipes are for and do i need to have them connected.:zlove:

    please don't tell me you're talking about the intake/turbo pipes (for want of a better word) in the engine bay? lol

    The little pipes plumbed into the old pipes are for the AIV system. They are not required so if they are not there that is fine.

    Thanks so do i just cap off the other end?

    You can rip that whole system out, search AIV delete in the tech section http://tech.aus300zx.com/

    They can be left sitting there, uncapped. It won't do any harm, but as Rob has mention it is not all that difficult to remove the entire AIV system from either both sides :)
