Hello everyone, On Christmas day of all days i asked my girlfriend to marry me. it was a great surprise for her and just about everyone else. but not without those that were jealous of course (not the fact that i was taken, just that i did it before their boyfriends asked them, don't ask me sometimes women cannot be understood) telling us that we were a bit young. I guess it may cross most peoples minds that i am young as i am only 20, but what the heck. But the wedding will not be for at least a couple of years. gotta get the zed perfect for the wedding car first:zlove:.
Congratulations  All the best to you and your new fiance... Have a Zeddingly great life
congrats pat, screw what other ppl may think, so long as you feel your doing the right thing, then thats all that matters, hope it goes all good for you cheers
Congrats Mate  And remember what to do if she asks you to choose! If she asks you to choose between the Zed or her.. Push her off the Cliff Ok, this forum is a bad influence on me!!! Fate... Congrats again man!
Congrats mate, goodluck! I did the same thing a year to this day on the beach near Melbourne because I finally found one that could put up with my driving and the ZED:LOL:. Na she is a legend and I dont regret it.:thumbsup:Good luck mate. MattB
well done dude.. did the same a few months ago.. It all gets very interesting when you start planning the wedding and buying a house...:wacko: Cheers
planning and house hunting well so far we are not going to look into weddings for another year as gabby's sister is getting married in january and we thought one wedding in a year is enough. House hunting is another thing all together. we want to start looking now but i told her to wait till i at least start second year in my apprenticeship so we can get the amount on the loan that we need. So we will start looking in may. i think i will be staying in mulgrave though as its probably the closest that we will be getting to glen waverley where gabby wants to buy.
Re: ...house hunting... Advice from my Father-in-law-to-be (many years ago, and he was an accountant): Borrow as much for a house as you can realistically afford, because eventually what you repay the bank each month will be less than the rental for the same property. He was right!
Re: ...house hunting... Fist congratulations  I suggest reading a few books on property investment before purchasing and also speaking to as many people as you can about the subject. Just remember a wrong decision, when it comes to purchasing property, can cost you more than a year's salary and a good decision can save you as much. So why wouldn't you spend the time and do the research. Depending on your salary it's often much better to purchase an investment property rather than a PPOR and continue to rent.
Re: ...house hunting... trust me, my brain is just about full from all the question i've been asking. Thank god a friend of mine works in the realestate business and can help me out quite a bit with what i don't understand. i know very well what i can afford right now. and trust me when i say that its not much. oh well hopefully the pay rise i get is significant. but gabby is getting paid well, so that is good.
Excellent work... congrats bro Your never too young if you have the right vibes to feel like spending the rest of your life with the woman you love. :zlove: :thumbsup:Take it ese:thumbsup: Frank
