If the EGR vacuum lines were disconnected from the EGR but everything else was hooked up would that have any adverse affects on the engine? Could it cause detonation? Lean conditions etc? Beavis
I would remove the control solenoid valve.... and plug the manifold connections. The ECU controls this solenoid between vacuum and atmosphere so just disconnecting the vacuum line could present unmeterd air into the system.
