Hi all, After a few WOT runs tonight followed by some searching and thought it'd be good to start a thread to get a comparison of power levels based on max AFM, IDC and injector sizes from max values in ECUtalk. Examples below: Pexzed Burgundy Bullet: AFM V: 5.02 Injector size: 555cc Duty Cycle: 85% RWKW: 329rwkw (dyno) martini_Z AFM V: 4.8v Injector size: 550cc Duty Cycle: 78% RWKW: ~280rwkw (estimated) Estimations come from IDC/Injector size +/- 10%. I agree that it's not 100% accurate, but see following two quotes to substantiate my theory: AFM is not really that relevant as it can differ greatly between boost/breathing mods, but figured it may as well be included..
740cc injectors 350-380rwkw (depending on dyno but let's day 350) (480rwhp) Could assume I am only @65% duty cycle or something similar Is that roughly how it works In theory ? :/
Plug ECUtalk in and you'll see haha. For some reason however, I can't find injector duty cycle on my ECUtalk. Does being N/A have anything to do with it, or is it due to the later style ECU. For reference, I plugged my ECUtalk into a mates GTIR, duty cycle came up on the main screen, so I know it's capable of showing it. ECUtalk V2 for more reference.
